Training Puppies

Can anyone give me advice on Puppy Training please?

I just got two puppies, they are half lab, half …. pug seriously. But anyway, my mother wants to kennel train them for when we're home. Can anyone help me out with training them to behave well as an older dog? everything is appreciated. Thank you.
