Like many dog lovers are having a dog is sometimes simply not enough. Many people believe that their existing dog enjoy the company of a new friend can play or feel that a second dog to the whole family. Whatever the reasons for wanting another dog, there are some important things you should consider.

First, you may want your dog's nature. If your pet is a loved and a little rough the new dog that is not submitted, there will be some major battles before deciding what the dog is in charge. Instead, you may want to consider adding another dog mature and stable family. After all, it will be easier on your dog's age to adapt to a dog who has finished teething and chewing.

Finally, some breeds of dogs have more trouble accepting a new puppy than other breeds. Some toy breeds become a bit spoiled and jealous of other dogs. If you have a pampered Yorkshire Terrier or Miniature Pinscher, it is possible that the introduction of the new puppy can be a bit of a challenge. Pit bulls, rottweilers and other breeds that have aggression problems may have problems. However, each dog is an individual and dogs that are members of these breeds have no difficulty accepting a new puppy.
