What books are a good dog training or a DVD?

Currently I have my puppy class 5 months. I went through all four classes at Petsmart, but now I think I could save about $ 300.00 to teach my dog the same things (and probably more) if you invest in a good book or a DVD. Suggestions? I would prefer a DVD, but the books are very good too. Therefore, it can also be applied to the formation of our two other dogs at the same time. The "For series models are always good. But please consult your veterinarian for a list of other local clubs obedience (surely some are cheaper) and make your puppy a formal class. The advantages are both socialize your puppy as moral teaching. It's something that can not get with home schooling.
