Take a class! A large number of programs offer community education courses, or ask your pet store – I know Petco offers puppy kindergarten. If you or someone in your household is under 18, think 4H. They have a large dog program, and training in obedience, agility and staging. (You can only take the allegiance or obedience, as well as a or other of the other two). This is a great experience and very useful.
