Best Guard Dogs

[EASY] How are the BEST POINTS watchdogs?

And I'm not a Rottweiler or Pit Bull. Looking for dog breeds that have a good general temperament is not difficult to train, children right around it (just in case I have a few) and other dogs (small dogs to be exact). But I want my dog to be okay around other people (although it should not be in protection mode all the time, should be able to learn when to be calm / relaxed and protection marital status). All domestic breeds (common or rare) and I'm not attacking the person. Only intimidating. I am a woman, and I know that small dogs can do the same thing, only small dogs are not seen as a threat to most criminals lol
