Bulldog Information: Fascinating Facts about the Bulldog

American Bulldogs are rare breeds who can claim they were in reality here United States. This race is great and is very strong and muscular, with a strong jaw. There are two types of Bulldog, the Johnson type and the Scott type. Although the differences between these two types is usually gone now, in the past, there were some differences.

The American Bulldog is derived from the English Bulldog. The bulldog was made by immigrants from Scotland and England. Farmers and ranchers to use this dog for daily chores, such as agriculture and mining. One of the main uses of this dog was to hunt wild pigs.

Some health problems common in these dogs, including enlarged heart, kidney problems, thyroid problems, hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, entropion and ectropion (eye problems), and bone cancer.

This dog has a short coat, smooth and easy maintenance with moderate training. They come in various Blue Merle colors or sought to be. They can weigh up to 125 pounds if you really want to have plenty of room for these dogs in the yard.

Unless well-trained dog not recommended for new dog owners or those people with small children or cats. These dogs can be very aggressive, so a good training and socialization you need at an early age.

As you can see the American Bulldog is not for everyone. If you have a large garden and time to train well, you can have a very loyal and friendly dog.
